What is Dry Ice Blasting? And Why You Want It.

Updated: Sep 3, 2021

Dry Ice Blasting is a relatively new and innovative way to clean surfaces without using water or chemicals. If you're looking for a more eco-friendly, non-toxic alternative to traditional cleaning methods, dry ice blasting may be the answer. To learn more about what it is and why you want it, keep reading!

Dry Ice Blasting uses compressed air and small frozen CO2 pellets known as Dry Ice Rice. The Dry Ice Rice is blasted onto the debris to be removed, and once contact is made, the dry ice sublimates and briefly freezes the targeted contaminant which allows it to be easily released from the part with air pressure. The process leaves no residue behind, meaning that every inch of your vehicle will be sparkling clean!

Now we know what you're probably thinking. "Wow "blasting" sounds aggressive". and you would be right to think that. Dry Ice Blasting is aggressive... when we want it to be, but delicate where we need it to be. What do we mean by that? Well it's simple. We have teamed up with Cold Jet, leader in Dry Ice Blasting and Dry Ice Manufacturing technology and equipment. Combining Cold Jet's equipment and our carefully planned and tested process, we are able to adjust particle size, air pressure, and quantity of dry ice accordingly. So whether we're "blasting" your engine, transmission, sub-frame, cooler, brake lines, painted wheel wells, calipers, plastic intakes, shrouds, engine bays, door panels, etc.

You can be assured that Dry Ice Blasting will not damage a single component.

The best part?

You don't have to spend 30+ hours spraying and scraping every inch.

AND
